Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrintCalc at calc.spoolledger.com and related websites, products, and services operated by SpoolLedger ("SpoolLedger," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using PrintCalc, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PrintCalc is a web-based 3D print pricing calculator designed to help makers, Etsy sellers, and small print farms estimate pricing for 3D printed items.

The Service may include free features, waitlist or signup features, and, now or in the future, optional paid features, upgrades, or related products offered by SpoolLedger.

2. Estimates Only

PrintCalc provides pricing estimates based on the information and inputs you enter. The Service is provided for informational and planning purposes only.

You are solely responsible for:

• reviewing your inputs
• verifying your calculations
• setting your own prices
• determining taxes, fees, shipping, labor, and other business costs
• making final business decisions

We do not guarantee profit, accuracy, market fit, customer acceptance, tax treatment, or business outcomes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• interfere with or disrupt the Service
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying logic except where prohibited by law
• use the Service to build or operate a directly competing product by copying substantial portions of the Service, content, or functionality
• misuse any waitlist, contact, checkout, or support forms

4. Accounts, Waitlists, and Communications

Some parts of the Service may allow you to submit your email address or other contact information, including for waitlists, updates, support, billing, or future product access.

By submitting your information, you agree that we may contact you regarding:

• product updates
• support matters
• billing matters
• service notices
• launch information related to SpoolLedger products

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

5. Payments and Paid Features

Some features of the Service may be offered as paid products or upgrades.

Where purchases are offered, payments may be processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for those transactions. Your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms and checkout terms in addition to these Terms.

Product details, pricing, feature availability, and license scope will be described at the point of sale.

6. Refunds

If and when paid products or upgrades are offered, refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase by contacting [email protected]. Refunds may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy's policies and procedures.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, text, graphics, layout, and related content, is owned by or licensed to SpoolLedger and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service or its content.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, such as payment providers, hosting providers, email or form providers, font providers, analytics providers, or other infrastructure services.

We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their policies. Your use of such services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpoolLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the relevant paid product or service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpoolLedger and its affiliates, operators, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

• your misuse of the Service
• your violation of these Terms
• your violation of any law or third-party rights

12. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, engaged in fraud or abuse, or created risk for us or other users.

13. Changes to the Service

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
